All operations on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th. We will resume the normal work schedule on Saturday, November 29th.

New TCR Employee Benefit
As part of our commitment to your well-being and financial security, Tri City Rentals is pleased to announce that, as of January 1, 2025, all active full-time employees will be covered under TCR’s Group Life Insurance Policy through Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company. We are delighted to share this important news with you, as life insurance will provide financial security and protection for you and your loved ones.

Eligibility:

All active full-time employees will be automatically enrolled in TCR’s Group Life Insurance Policy on January 1, 2025.

Employees are encouraged to complete a Beneficiary Designation Form (attached) and provide to your supervisor no later than January 15, 2025.

New full-time employees must first complete 60 days of employment to be eligible for TCR’s Group Life Insurance coverage.

We're proud to share that during October, we raised $1,212.38 for Breast Cancer Awareness through generous employee donations and a matching contribution from Tri City Rentals. Even without participating in the walk this year, our team showed incredible support and unity for a great cause. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed—your kindness makes a real impact!

SOLAR ECLIPSE - Safety Notice and Awareness
April 4, 2024
On, Monday April 8, 2024, a solar eclipse will be visible throughout New York State with Buffalo and Rochester (3:20pm) inside the path of the total solar eclipse. Albany, we will be at 96.6% of totality at 3:26pm. The eclipse starts just after 2:00pm and ends about 4:30pm. While the eclipse will be temporary and short, it is very important to guard against temporary or permanent damage to the eyes. The moment the edge of the Moon appears to touch the
edge of the Sun is called first contact. Eclipse glasses must be kept on for observing. Even during the few brief minutes or seconds of totality eclipse glasses are always recommended to be used for looking at the solar eclipse. Otherwise, Do Not look at the eclipse without specialized eye protection for solar viewing.
Everyone should take precautions needed during the solar eclipse to prevent accidents and injuries. Sudden darkness can cause confusion and hazards in work environments. Proper safety measures and awareness training are essential to ensure employee well-being and minimize the risk of accidents during this event. We are going to allow a PAUSE from work from 3:00 to 3:30 in all regions for team members. If staff wish to view the eclipse safely with proper eye protection outdoors, they may, if others wish to come inside for the PAUSE they may do so. Driving should be avoided during the eclipse. By implementing these measures and prioritizing employee safety, we can help protect our teammates during this total solar eclipse on April 8th and ensure a safe and productive work environment.
GOOD FRIDAY OBSERVANCE

Good Friday is a day on which Christians around the world observe the commemoration of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The day is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday and is a significant event in the Christian faith. Good Friday is the most solemn day of the year for many Christians.

TCR Team Members desiring to observe the day according to your traditions and want to attend church, religious services or fast on Good Friday may do so. You may leave work at 11:30AM or earlier if required for travel to services. Please inform your supervisor today of your intention to observe private time on Good Friday. No PTO time or vacation time is required.

HIGHMARK HEALTH INSURANCE ID CARDS PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE
You may have previously received a Highmark Insurance ID card in the mail or already registered and downloaded an ID card from the Highmark Mobile App or from the computer website. These are no longer valid and will not work. We are also aware that there have been issues with employees unable to fill prescription using these previous versions of the insurance card.
The card currently on the website and on the Mobile App as of today is the ONLY version of the card that will work for prescriptions.
You will be receiving a corrected ID card via USPS mail in the near future. Please make sure the card you keep shows a RxGrp # and RxBIN #.
